Rastafari is rightly associated with Jamaica, for the religion was born here in the 1930s. Rastafari is an Abrahamic faith that adheres to much of The Bible, though Rastafaris worship Haile Selassie I, former emperor of Ethiopia. Arguably the best-known Rastafari is the late Bob Marley. The international star introduced much of the world to the tenets of Rastafari, including the smoking of ganja (marijuana), which the Rasta consider a spiritual act.

We had fun and enjoyable ride to the Rastafari village. Roxy our driver also drove us through the city of Montego Bay and was very accommodating to what we wanted to see. She also was able to come back and pick us up after the tour on time.

We got there early and got some time to look around. He showed me around the area and around Montego Bay too. Definitely better than a bus tour.
The villagers themselves were quite friendly and hospitable and I got to learn about Rastafarianism.
